This is a gem of a restaurant, which is a fusion of culinary styles from the Basque region and Andalucía. The food is a delightfully creative mix – we had tapas specialities for starters including chiperones with mango, crunchy morcilla, egg plant with honey and vegetable tempura all amazingly tasty with subtly balanced flavours. Our other main dishes included some of the best secreto we have tasted, delicious gratinated scallops and tortilla de bacalao. We finished with the quirky gin and tonic ice cream and a splendidly rich banana and dulche de leche cheesecake Service was superb prompt and with a smile and a touch of humour. Location is OK and is very near the port. If you are travelling by car, park in the nearby school where the PTA run a summer car parking service. The cost was about €25 per head including starters, main course, dessert and wine – excellent value for money.
