the nuns moved around years ago, and an excellent conversion of the monastery has taken place to turn it into a relatiw small boutique hotel. it feels as if their main business is high times, the weekend we were here in the week and only me and my colleagues were present. that was not a bad thing, because it meant that we could decamp in one of the lounges for work talks before dinner at night and it was as if we had a conference room (with a drink cabinet containing it). a very quiet, mindful place to stay, and excellent for the business. However, note that only a limited continental breakfast is available (with the offer of a simple omelette additional), and there are no other facilities in the house, so no lunch or dinner, and no room service. there is a series of very good restaurants within a few minutes to walk, but that meant that we were wet (heavy rain, unusual, during our visit), and for frequent traveling, sometimes they just want to relax in their room with their dinner not an option here.
