La Margelle - Tisch reservieren

We arrived with a group of five for lunch. Three of us took the lunch menu at € 17, which included a choice of main course, a desert and coffee. The others ordered à la carte. The pork choice of the menu was okay, the meat perhaps a bit greasy, but it had a very nice mustard sauce. The 'tartare' of beef did not really taste as fresh as could be, which may have been the marinade. The shrimps were okay. The presentation of all courses on the plate was simple. The same potatoes on with the different meat and shrimp and a salad that seemed to be taken just out of a package. All not bad, but nothing special either. However, t,wo of us ended up with some stomach/intestines problems a few hours later.What bothered us also is the bill. We were given a choice of deserts after having eaten the main course. When the bill was presented, we were charged all five à la carte. A 'plus' of € 10 per person. When asked for a correction, we were told that the 'lunch menu' guests had chosen a desert that was not the one intended to be with the menu (that one was never offered!) and that they were therefore charged separately. Since the menu was not chosen as intended, also the coffee had to be payed extra.Although I am not a complaining type, I feel that I cannot really recommend this restaurant. My party will not visit it anymore, since there are choices enough for good food in the neighborhood.

We wanted to have dinner in this restaurant for a while so when we went we were expecting a very positive experience.In the end we were really disappointed and do not recommend this restaurant. There are many good restaurants in Pernes worth a visit and the money... la margelle is pretty expensive for what it is apart from the garden. We went without a reservation so the servers were visibly not happy about that. Then they ignored us for about 45 min until we took the initiative to call them to ask if it was possible to place an order....Before that all 3 severs passed by many times and served many other customers.Once we had our food (which again was pretty long) we were disappointed. Very greasy and without any particular interest. Especially for the price and the image of the place I was expecting something way better. It was not horrible but for the price and the competition around we expected something more qualitative.When we complained about our bad experience we didn't have an excuse only the justification that the heat may have messed with the service...I don't enjoy writing such a negative review but I prefer supporting other restaurants in the area who do an excellent job (for a better price).

I had heard that La Margelle had recently reopened so decided to give it a go. La Margelle is a 3 stars hotel and a restaurant. As soon as we arrived we knew we had made the right choice. The place looks fantastic. Our room was just what we were looking for, simple, quiet and super comfortable. We spent the evening in the restaurant where we were warmly welcome and quickly the place filled up. The atmosphere was fantastic. It's the kind of place you go to for an evening, not just for food. Thanks again the amazing team for such a great evening

We ate twice at La Margelle during a week-long stay in a chambre d'hote near to Pernes-les-Fontaines. The restaurant itself is lovely - attractive tables under trees laced with soft lighting, it looks quite magical. The food is good quality French fare, cooked and served really well. We had the steak, the lamb, the quail, the fish and the duck, each was excellent and came with great sauces and vegetables. The service is friendly and efficient. So much to recommend!

I had very recently discover this place with friends. A new management took over a nice place and did transform it to a very refined al fresco restaurant, you could be at "home"! The garden boasts several tables with a nice lightning style too. the music is a bit too loud.The menu is simple and good, and the service is with a "smile' not a fake one! a real one! The new place to be when in Provence or in the area.
