La Mauvaise Reputation

This restaurant is situated in the old port at the southern end of the quai. It was full of local people, which is always a good sign. The young waitress was very friendly and we got a nice table inside. We had just main course. Very tasty tuna steak, just right. Grilled scampis were great, too. Local wine excellent. Quality/price very good. The easy going, local atmoshere made our night!

Worst service ever. Staff ignored us actively. The end of the night nicely summarises our experience: we asked for the bill which didn't arrive. After asking again 15 mins later we were rudely told that we need to go inside to pay, in the mean time I observed people paying at the table with other waiters. Plenty of better for options available just next doors.

It was a pleasure to eat there. Nice and warm place that offers you the feeling of being treated with much love like you treated your on family. The food was very well cooked and the mix of flavours in your mouth is like a rainbow after a cloudy day. I truly recommend to go at least one time for a dinner with friends, family or why not a couple evening .

It does feel a bit like a private club, as the owners seem to know everyone and certainly treat them all as though they were really special. This can make you feel like an outsider, which indeed you are, but it does create a great atmosphere . We ate very well, the fish was impeccably cooked. Would go back.

We were seven hungry people who arrive as the kitchen was closing. The chef was wonderful and even came out to greet our party. Food was beyond reproach. I highly recommend!
