La Palombe - Tisch reservieren

We spent the most perfect 3/4 hours here with a gentle walk in the surrounding hills to spot butterflies, a dip in La Palombe's heavenly pool and then a wonderful lunch. Each course was a delight, with surprises every time the lovely waiters appeared. An aperitif with plum syrup from the trees in the garden, cold garlic and almond soup with herbs just picked, an extra vegetarian amuse bouche appeared for one who cant decide if she is vegetarian or not, to save her the bother of deciding and the delights continued. Perfect service, perfect environment and although it feels that you cant put price on this sort of experience, it is one we will repeat at 60 eu a head including aperitif, coffee and a bottle of cremant. Special menu for Kids under 10 and pool to keep them happy. An amazing place.

We have been coming here for years and the food keeps getting better. La Palombe offers a level of dining that is really quite unbelievable given it's location a couple of kilometres up a tiny road in the middle of the Languedoc countryside. The service is unfussy and friendly (English spoken perfectly) and they welcome kids. The menu is a small selection of perfectly executed dishes, often an interpretation of local cuisine. The wine list offers an extensive selection of local wines from simple to fine.Highly recommended (and the hotel is simple but very nice if you need somewhere to retire to avoid driving).

We ate three consecutive evenings in family and then in couple at la Palombe, where we staid as a hotel. I have to say we were very positively surprised by the inventively of the chef and his aides. 'Mise en bouche' was refreshing with melon or prosciutto, mint or bien herbs macerated in alcohol. Meat was a fest, also fish and vegetarian dishes. Service exquisite with rich moments of charm and warm comments. Terrace with flower is inspiring and makes you believe you are at the end of your life, a peak: paradise, at last?

Du début à la fin.... que du ravissement pour les yeux et de l'enchantement pour les papilles et jusqu'au bout avec un Irish Coffee vraiment excellent qui terminait cette superbe soirée en famille.

Un jeune chef talentueux qui des mises en bouche aux desserts nous a surpris et ravi.Une adresse encore peu connue qui mérite le détour.
