Travelling back from the Alpes we wanted an overnight stop and ended up at the Ibis in Choisey near Dole on a Sunday evening when their restaurant was closed. Choisey is a short distance from the A39 (junction 6? and a very convenient stop. It isn't far from the motor way but it does get you into the local town for cheaper prices for food and fuel. We needed somewhere to have a meal and there is a very limited choice of restaurants open on a Sunday evening so we ended up at La Patatrie. It is quite a large restaurant and it seemed to be popular with family groups. The waitress was enthusiastic and the meal was quick to arrive. The menu, as the restaurant name implies, was mainly dishes on a potato theme. There were various meal deals on offer. We just ordered a main course: my meal consisted of three jacket potato halves, each with a different cheese on and a side salad it was a large meal and OK. My husband had a jacket potato with a creamy forestiere topping on it and he was very unimpressed. He thought the potato was reheated and did not enjoy his meal. The prices were very reasonable and the service was quick. I would only say that the food was average but I suppose it was in accordance with the price that we paid. There are dishes to suit all ages and there is a large car park so it is easy to park right outside. It is also open on a Sunday evening when a lot of other restaurants are closed.
