La Ruche - Tisch reservieren

We came with a little one (7yo) and sat inside as the heat wave was striking France. They have a number of coolers that make the experience ideal in spite of the heat. We took the lunch sets and tried various starters and main courses. The freshness and detail of each course is outstanding. The Chef works with local seasonal products ensuring the very best culinary session for each lucky customer. I really liked the marinated Daurade (starter) and the Boudin Noir (main). The deserts are also exceptional - don't just stop at the second course. Important fact: they propose a very ample wine list especially for the Cornas which is the pride of the area. We tried their organic Champagne from Fleury and a Cornas 2009 from Louma (to open at least 1 hour before pouring). They don't mark up much and have a wider selection than most Cornas producer themselves! Last but not least, the team is very pleasant, helpful and you can tell that they are passionate. Look forward to having a chance to come again.

Based in the middle of St Peray, this restaurant has a small but thoughtful menu, that changes virtually daily. Each dish very well presented with good balance of flavours and textures. The owner has a strong focus on local fresh produce, which shows in the flavours of each dish. Both the manager (owner?) and our waiter spoke English which was a bonus. The wine list was impressive, though small note to the owner- the wine list is entirely listed by price which makes it hard to find specific styles or regions of wines.

Passing through the Drôme with friends, we had the pleasure of discovering this restaurant thanks to them.The food is exceptional worthy of a star. The local products are highlighted both in the dishes and through the service by means of small stories told as to the origin of the dishes and the wines served.We had an amazing time.Thank you again and continue.

We were advised by the owners of a local B&B at which we stayed that this was the best restaurant in Saint-Peray. It was so good, we returned the following night for a second meal. The owner, Florian is a great host and he and Cynthia looked after us superbly. Highly recommended.
