The view is nice, overlooking a lake and you have the added bonus that it is right by a playpark. We ate a starter whilst the kids ate their mains. After all plates had been finished off (always a good sign with kids) they then went off for a play where we could see them whilst my wife and I tucked into an amazing steak as a grown up meal. Price: for the steak, which was he most expensive thing on the menu. for a carafe of local wine. for a kids meal. For good quality food this felt like a bargain. We came here at the recommendation of our Gite host, Catherine, in La Guiche and it was a great experience. It was away from the main eating area so more likely to be frequented by locals with whom it appeared to be very popular. We...had great shrimp and octopus starters and really nice steaks for main meal. The meringue and nectarines dessert and cheeses were a great way to finish off a delightful dinner. There are many wines and other drinks on offer. In the summertime all the tables are open and have great views of a lovely still rural lake. With a seating at we got the best or the evening light. Quintessential Burgundy!! We loved it and recommend it highly!!
We recently visits whilst staying with some friends in the area for a birthday lunch. Simply one of the best burgers i have ever had. The staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Order one of the recommended Belgium beers and came...in something the size of wine bottle! lovely! Cannot recommend this place enough, lovely spot on the edge of the lake! great for walking after your meal!
Fabulous range of French and Belgian offerings, including a great menu du jour, fresh bread, fresh pasta, and freshly baked cakes. A lovely evening à deux and a warm welcome for our 9month old baby. Thank you, we'll be back!
