La Tantina de Burgos

Our surf instructors suggested this place. We wanted local and not fancy. This was the right place. Staff was accommodating, especially since none of us spoke French. They helped with the menu translation, pushed us to order the nightly special, which was fresh turbot, and seemed to really enjoy our group. The mussels were fantastic. Small, fresh and full of flavor. The pork dinner was also delicious. And I'm told the baked potatoes were tender and soaked perfectly in butter!

Do not be put off by the slightly downbeat exterior appearance of this Spainish style bistrot. A warm welcome followed by prompt and smiling service in this busy restaurant. As noted by others here the Cote de boeuf is to die for and the Ladies in our group were delighted with their fish. We will be back without a doubt. The bill for four of us including aperitifs and wine was 139 euros - great value at today's rate of exchange.

This is a fantastic little gem. The service is very good and friendly. The food is what food should be, simple yet deliciously seasoned. A simple menu but well balanced. The chuleta cooked to perfection (saignant), and the parrillada just perfectly seasoned. well worth a visit. you are advised to book in advance.

Well priced (for Biarritz) we had a light dinner of moules, croccettes and a few other basic tapas dishes. Nice flavours and everything was fresh and well seasoned. House rose was well priced and good. Not the nicest location to sit outside as it's on a roundabout, but good, lively, vibe inside.

Picked this restaurant because od recommendations of Trip Advisor. Wasn't disappointed. Staff very friendly. Not posh food but would eat there again. I had sea bass which was good
