We visited on our last evening in Menton. We'd never visited the area behind the harbour at Garavan before, this restaurant (which also has mini golf attached! is on a road that winds up towards the top road behind Garavan. It would be easy to dismiss it as a cafe attached to the golf at first glance, but that would be a big mistake! The helpful and thoughtful front of house (English spoken present a brilliant menu, and everything we saw being served looked tasty and beautifully presented. We shared an Assiette Mentonnaise which had some lovely memories of meals long past in Menton, barbe juan, petit farcies and various beautifully prepared tartes. See the pictures. After that we had roast sucking pig which just happened to be on the spit that night. Such a delicate flavour! A lovely poire William dessert with sorbet and lots of eau de vie rounded things off then coffee and complimentary limoncello. It was all served with charm by the chap who ran front of house on his own. We will be back for sure!
