We were there for dinner. It seems to be a very friendly service. The staff recommend the Beef (probably because they ran out of other dishes). Our starters were good (you can get it wrong with wine, salad and fois gras). We didn't know the cut of beef so we ask the waiter for advice on how to be done he said "rare will be the best". Luckly we didnt follow the advice and ordered medium. It was awfull, you needed a butcher electric knife to cut it, very fatty and tough. Impossible to eat. And the best part: One of the most expensive and the only horrible meal in Vence. Well, sad that no remedy offered after seen our plates (full of the horrible meat) been returned.
Went here for a simple coffee with my parents. For two cafe au laits and a cappuccino it was 10 euro. The cafe au lait was tasteless...I have no idea what kind of milk they use but it tasted more like water! The cappuccino was simply black coffee with milk foam on top-no milk whatsoever! And of course it took forever to get! We had a good laugh at the fact that you can get three beers for the same price-and you can't go wrong with beer!
The owner was very hospitable, the room was small but completely adequate for one couple not staying long. Parking is underground and close (Public). Breakfast is available for a fee and is done in a relaxed setting. The bar/restaurant was not very good but the only one open on a Sunday.
We'd stayed here before and decided to use them again and it was the good experience we'd had before , the hotel is close to the old town centre , the staff were helpful with the luggage which is needed as there are steps up to reception but a lift to the rooms
