This is a fabulous restaurant from the service to the ambience, to the food. As with many great gastronomic adventures we have had it started with a hungry stroll by. I had the Medallion de lotte sauce ecrivisses a chorizo...Quite sublime. ..perfectly cooked monkfish accompanied with al dente vegetables sauté in sesame oil and fluffy rice and a beautifully piquant sauce. My partner had Tartare tradi a couteau. .A masterpiece. .an excellent blend of just enough garlic, gerkhin and deep umani flavour to make it really stand out. For desert she had the chocolate gateau which was pronounced superb and I (my one criticism. ..no cheese available) had a savoury starter as my end dish. .plumping for the Tarte fine audouillette...A **** good romp through sausage and salad with a puff pastry casing...One of the best meals we have had in a while. recommend highly!!
Stopped for an afternoon drink (a party of 8) and encountered the rudest waiter I have ever had the misfortune to have to deal with. Didn't like the fact that we were not French (we were with German friends) and rudely gathered up the cutlery when it became clear that we were not eating. Slammed the cups down in front of us and made no effort to be friendly. We did not leave tip which further angered him! DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE.
First Book! especially at weekends, this is a popular eatery with good reasons the food and ambiance is excellent. We tried this resto on a Thursday and it was busy then, it has a compact menu but big enough to satisfy most tastes, my wife had a wonderful salad and I had the steak both superb the wine list both by bottle and by glass is excellent, next time you are in Hardelot give it a go.It is excellent VFM.
We have visited La Villa on several occasions. The food is always good and the service friendly. Nothing better than to sit outside on a sunny afternoon with good food, good wine and good friends and watch life pass by ... mmmmm
