We started with bread order and tuna tartar. We asked for the bread to come out 1st but they both came out at the same tone. The Tuna was Delicious. My husband‘s Duck was excellent. My scallops were good. Unfortunately the service was horrible. Wouldn't even give it a star. My waitress never came over. I need more butter asked three times never got it. A drink was accidentally spilled, the waitress never came over to ask if we needed another glass of wine nor to help clean up. Unfortunately, the place is good but the service was horrible. Not sure if we'll be back.
We had a wonderful view of the bay, the food was delicious. The only problem was we felt a little rushed. we were still enjoying our appetizer when the main course was brought out and then the server quickly returned to the kitchen. As soon as we finished the appetizer, our dinner was brought out. I would have like to finish my cocktail and select a glass of wine and maybe take a breath between the app and dinner.
This was our first time dining at The Lakehouse. We had heard all positive things about it. A fan who is a friend of ours gave us a gift card as a surprise. We were more than happy to dine there. Everything was perfect. The staff were very attentive, patient, and professional. We have already recommended it to several people. We will definitely be returning there. Thank you so much.
I love this place, got the duck entree, medium rare, it comes sliced and it was gray on the inside. Texture and taste was great, texture even that of a mid rare but the visual was total gray. Slightly off putting. None the less, this place always delivers in quality, taste and freshness. Hands down most consistent #1 restaurant in bay shore.
