I had gone to Lakeland Grill on two separate occasions with my husband's nieces. My husband had been admitted to the hospital there. The day my husband had been released on Wednesday - January 25th, 2017, I decided I would take him there for breakfast as he did not have a big breakfast that morning- not that there wasn't enough but he was anxious to get out. When we arrived at the restaurant we noticed that the time for the breakfasts had already passed. We did ask the friendly waitress if we could still get breakfast and she said she would check with the cook. We were taken back as the cook himself came to our table and said yes we could still have breakfast to order what we wanted. I must say he got thumbs up from us. All the staff was great, made you feel right at home. If ever in Bonnyville again, I would certainly go there to eat.
This is a small restaurant on Main Street but it works.The owners have been in bonnyville for many years and operated in other buildings and most people follow them wherever they go,as the food is very good.They were planning to move into a new building further down Main Street but the slow economy dictates.We have never had a bad meal in there and go there as much as possible,if your visiting town and need a meal this is the place to go,you will be pleased with the food and the prices.
My husband and I came here for lunch one day, what a mistake! he had popcorn shrimp, they were hard and tasteless the fries were plentiful but from frozen so yuck! I ordered a beef dip, the bun was sub par and the roast beef was old and tasted fridgie, the gravy was dark and thick and nasty! They replaced my sandwich, but the next one wasn't much better! Last time, for this place!
Went there last week and was not impressed with the fact that the veggies was luke-warm and the liver was not as good as before. I have eaten here last summer and the food was much better - maybe the cooks were different. May try them again but then again once not impressed means I may not come back again.
