The restaurant just opened in Whitby. its within walking distance so we thought we would give it a try. Big mistake, first off, the place is disgusting, they could at least clean off the tables when people leave. The menu board is terrible, Fancy burgers by name but no ingredients listed, we had to ask what was on each burger, which of course slowed the order process down. Now for the food, the burgers were frozen patties, very thin, and no taste, the fries were soggy. Both meals were just horrible, we both threw out more than half our meals. We will never go there again!!!
Just ate here after seeing their adds and promotion for $5.00 burger and fries combo. Raw fries, no cheese on a cheeseburger, dry and over cooked burgers, buns tasted about a week old, Terrible service too boot! The cook behind the counter was an absolute jerk when my boyfriend asked nicely for napkins and ketchup he didn't even respond instead sent another employee around the counter to fill trays while all the while glaring at us. Oh an even the pop taste weird, save your money!! For real McDonald's is 1000 times better!
First time visiting Lakeview. Went to the Whitby location. Place was empty. Order was accurate (fries were overdone). Disappointed with the Freestyle selection. Food was ok, not great. Burger was bland ( even with Bacon and lots of condiments). Honestly I have had better food at Big Boys and Five Guys for comparable prices. Not sure I'll be back.
My husband ordered a plain cheese burger and was happy with it. I ordered a mushroom Swiss melt and was disappointed. Canned mushrooms and not swiss cheese. Burgers were big and fries and onion rings were good. Dining area not nice. Won't go there again.
