Update: We were refunded our money and a full apology! In addition, they asked us to come back and play for free! Way to go Lakota and Romero management !!! Thank you. February, we met Mr Romero at the expo to play at Lakota Links. After meeting himwe were excited for a great Lakota experience. As we arrived today, Robert stated these are your carts and you have 10 minutesto get to the tee box. Not a hello or welcome. As we were ready to go up to tee box, Robert stated it was women?s day. ButWomen play slow. Our response was that is not a nice statement. He said but it?s a fact! Keep in mind he?s saying this withother male golfers around. We then were told to get to the tee box where we encounter a foursome in the fairway, foursome ontee box waiting, a twosome waiting and our foursome. We thought let?s go back and get a drink. Bar was not open and no beveragecart on the course. Went back to tee box and waited over 20 minutes. Due to lack of management on sight and Robert?s lack ofprofessionalism and common courtesy, we decided to take our business elsewhere and made a tee time while waiting. In our 25+years of golfing throughout the US, never have we left a course feeling so degraded. Kudos to Glenwood Springs Golf Club fortheir amazing hospitality!
