I was in this restaurant several times and I'm going back with joy! every meal I had so far was delicious (tartartar, leberli, reiskasimir etc). all waiters and waiters are friendly and attentive. one of my favourites is the...Fondue chinoice à dicretion! I keep it every year for bigger groups and we all leave this restaurant so happy for several reasons! first they always try to make the reservation in the wine cellar. fantastic atmosphere! especially during the Christmas season with the decoration. or even better, at halloween when the owner tastes it with incredibly good carved cuts. a must see! in addition, they get various types of meat for this meal: calf meat, poulet and the unbeatable bark fillt. the bark is cut into dices (not these stupit slices that they get everywhere). these dices are a must for bark lovers. even if they forget the bark a past in the pot and they notice that it is too well made, they will be surprised how tender this bark is still. also they get these delicious sauces and pommes allumette (i love these pommes) and rice. Finally, the best thing is: this restaurant does not want to leave this place hungry! If something does not work as desired, they simply inform the team and make everything possible to leave this place happy! I can tell them I was there a dozen times and I was never disappointed. the restaurant is not seduced in the city center of zürich, but it is worth it.
came here to Christmas dinner with my team. excellent Swiss ambiente and they could see that the clientele were very well sawed. many families and couples celebrate special occasions. the service was good and the employees talked all well English, the menus also in...multilingual, but the German version had more choices (from any reason). eating is a mix between traditional Swiss and something fusion. overall was good and portions were very generous. the beef-entry sauce was the best I had and very tasty. the zimtparfait at the end I could have eaten again. only a grip, the menu had much too much concentration of calf and bark, would have been good to see some wings, venison etc., especially since we had some on the table that did not eat bark and then were forced to select from only options. weinwahl was good and overall we had a great time at the venue, a place I will visit again, as the overall quality is one that they experience a gast.
All the typical Swiss dishes are on the menu. You can even order a sausage/cheese salad (Chäs/Wurschsalat) which is heavenly prepared. All the other dishes are also carefully prepared and just delicious. A good selection of wine and Grappa (Grappa is an alcoholic beverage, a...fragrant, grape-based pomace brandy of Italian origin that contains alcohol by volume to US proof round up the excellent offer of drinks and beverages. The people serving you are competent, friendly and once you have your food, they leave you at ease without asking every minute if you need something else or more. Excellent! A bit pricy though. But you get what you pay for.
traditional Swiss food, excellent quality and service! always a pleasure to spend our evening here. we love the lunch menu, dinner and brunch!
