L'annex - Tisch reservieren

We returned again to this fabulous restaurant. Probably our 6th visit over the last 3 years as we are from the North of England We were a Party of 10 this time 5 couples. The Restaurant is very well located in the prime restaurant pitch and I would describe it as small to mid sized and unfussy but stylish. The menu is not the biggest but there was a fabulous choice and all 10 of us had a first class dining experience. It is not fine dining but it is first class food at a very sensible price. The choice of wines was excellent as was their knowledge to help us select the most suitable. What really won us over completely was the owners and their willingness to get involved and make sure we had the best experience.together with excellent staff. If this restaurant was in Leeds we would be extremely happy!! It is everything you could want from an authentic french restaurant that is run by good people.

We enjoyed a lovely meal at this restaurant. We had to wait for a table but were invited to the bar for a drink in the meantime. Rue de Metz is a lovely road with good restaurants and pubs. The restaurant was packed and we got a table outside which was very pleasant. The food was good value for money. I had a 'salade cesar ' which was great and almost too much to eat! We had drinks in the pub next door (can 't remember the name) Had to wait for a table outside but was worth it, the service was excellent, the pub packed with music and a great atmosphere.

We sat down at a table for two and were rudely told that we couldn't sit there. We got up expecting the waiter to point us in the direction of where we could sit by the said nothing just ignored us. So we asked where we could sit he just said not there and walked off. Bare in mind that there was no one else sitting at any if the tables bar two tables. We walked away.

Had an evening meal on 3rd june. Pleasant staff showed us a limited menu and bought us beer at nearly 7 quid for 1/2 litre. We both had the turkey escalope with mushroom sauce which was very good but left us feeling hungry. None of the sweets took our fancy. Sat outside under the heaters which was good. Very blowy day. Ok evening but wouldnt rush back.

Hungry family of 4 satisfied after a late lunch. Good service tasty food good variety. Set meal decent value. The risotto and prawns outstanding. Great location good Wi-Fi and s great buzz
