Idéalement situé car face à la gare avant de reprendre son train pour Paris. Une façade pas très attractive mais par contre une belle terrasse, idéale pour boire une bière. Les tarifs sont honnêtes : 6.50 à 7.50 la bière 50 cl (bien servie) - 12.50 la salade de chèvre (mais les lardons ont été oubliés !). Les alentours sont assez laids. Béton et voies ferrées.
Had time to spare waiting for the train in Vernon. This bar cafe is right by the train station. Friendly staff seated us outside in the warm sun and we enjoyed a glass of champagne. A bowl of pretzels and nuts served with our drinks was a welcome surprise.
The bikes we rented here were exceptionally nice for rental bikes, and the rate was great, also. They provided us with a map that helped us navigate to Giverny. We enjoyed coffee here in the morning and drinks on the patio in the afternoon.
Excellent little local French cafe with very friendly staff. Ideally located straight opposite the train station. You can even hire bicycles here to explore the local area. Great place to sit and kick back waiting for your train.
