Wonderful place, we wanted somewhere serving actual Spanish food and found this searching on Google. As previous reviewers say, the outside is unnerving, given the plastic Coca Cola sign, but inside is a haven. Friendly and engaging waiter who was familiar and warm without being over the top. He seemed to genuinely be delighted we were there, and every staff member who passed had a friendly word. We had grilled cheese, which was divine, and a selection of croquettes to start, followed by Valencian Paella. Asparagus creme appetiser and an amazing house made passion fruit liqueur at the end appeared with the waiter’s compliments, wonderful additions! I have no idea why we were the only table in there, and urge you to visit!
This is a local restaurant for us so we have been many times. We usually choose a selection of the starter dishes to share between us which are all delicious, and with some different dishes to those that you usually find including the fillet of pork with honey and ginger, prawns in batter with a banana chutney, lasanitas with cod and courgette etc. They serve a nice local white afrutado which goes lovely with it all.
I found the restaurant and reviews looked good, so I booked it for my 12 friends celebrating my birthday. The restaurant lived upto expectations. The welcome and hospitality were tremendous. They were very helpful in providing vegan and gluten free options. The food was delicious and vast, together with a surprise cake. Overall an outstanding experience. Highly recommended. Thanks!
