This restaurant may be a bit of a difficult find for someone who is not familiar with the area, but it is well worth the search. It is safely nestled in the hills of Guebwiller and can be accessed by a narrow, bumpy road not designed for those who come in sports cars.Menu has ample choice of Alsatian and general French fare. We have been to this restaurant multiple times and will be sure to return in the future. My personal favorite is the breaded trout with fries (made in the same manner as "carpes frites"...no bones and delicious). My husband is a picky eater and yet he has always found something that he's been happy with!Service is excellent - the staff are extremely friendly. Not only that but they are happy to help recommend something to suit your individual taste.A terraced outside seating area has proven to be a popular addition when the weather is fine.
Nice discovery. 2 beautiful rooms with different atmospheres: one modern and the other rustic and mountain, both with a fireplace. The atmosphere is really nice. Besides, I'm happy to have discovered this restaurant because it's one of the few to open on Sunday night. The menu is varied with traditional dishes. The well-stocked and very good pies. The coast was also very good. The service is fast, efficient and user-friendly. I'll go back to the fried carp.
A charming restaurant, lost in the forest on the heights of Guebwiller. The charming and attentive staff listens to you and will always make you smile. The map is developed, well represented and copied of the plates, which may justify the price a little high. Only flat, the noise... The place is so full that we would believe that there the VIDOC did not take, which generates a rather heavy brouhahaha and it is not really the ideal for a head-to-head.
Went with a friend for dinner, fairly off the beaten track up a bumpy lane but we worth the time to pay them a visit, service was excellent and the food the same well priced and full of locals which is always a good sign
