Le Bekaa - Tisch reservieren

We spotted Le Bekaa on a Monday evening when many of the other restaurants were closed so went in and were promptly shown to a table and offered a drink.We chose a lovely bottle of wine and it was great to drink it while watching the harbour and choosing our food.This restaurant serves hot and cold mezzes and skewers of tasty meat; the desserts look great but I never had room.The first night we were there we had a main course but when we went back we enjoyed lovely hummus and falafel too.The lamb skewers are beautifully seasoned and tender but the chicken ones really stood out for me- the chicken was so beautifully cooked it melted in the mouth.The accompanying salad, rice and aubergine caviar make everything so tasty especially when you wrap it up in the thin lebanese bread.The servers are very friendly, prices are great, I'll be back next time I am in Dieppe.

We have our one or two favourites in Dieppe but there was a massive festival when we got there on this occasion, as we were on our way to the ferry we managed to park up just on the town side of the iron bridge and walked around until we found an eaterie that wasn't finished serving or full, and decided to try the Bekaa. We have this kind of food quite a lot back in England but they do it so well. We loved the quirky Lebanese Middle Eastern decor, the heavy rustic water jugs, the service was terrific. We had five or six mezze between us and it was all completely delicious and perfect. After a six hour journey from central France and a depressing crawl around Dieppe for another hour looking for somewhere to eat this was a real relief, thankyou guys it was perfect.

This was by far the best meal I had in Dieppe in 3 days - as a vegetarian I found it very difficult to get any nice vegetarian food - most places had nothing it was really hard. At this restaurant I had falafel, houmous and salad and there were loads of other things I could have had. It was delicious. It would also be suitable for vegans, nothing else in Dieppe would be! The decor is lovely, the staff are really friendly and helpful though they don't speak English, I managed fine with my very basic French. Really good value food. I would recommend it to both vegans/vegetarians and meat-eaters who want a good value tasty dinner.

We were travelling in this area and decided to have dinner at this place. We were not disappointed. Many local people were there as well. This is a good sign. The food was excellent. We shared a platter for 4. All of the Lebanese specialties were brought to us, and served sizzling hot, or if they were meant to be, cold. Delicious and very reasonable.

Haven't been for a while but pleased to say we thoroughly enjoyed our evening having had a terrible lunch which left us feeling starving. This is a great place for sharing various dishes, the breads are just great and plentiful and everything is freshly prepared
