Le Bel Ami - Tisch reservieren

Picked out this restaurant based on reviews and quite frankly, I was very pleased with most aspects of the experience. The staff/owners were very both friendly and welcoming and the restaurant, as well as the atmosphere was great. This is a very typical French bistro style restaurant (and food) with a variety of choices directly from the blackboard.No issues with the time between courses or the quality of the food but I must admit that based on the rating I was expecting the culinary experience to be a whole lot better. The food was ok but nothing special and certainly not commensurate with the price we paid. Dinner for two was nearly €150 (included a couple of glasses of wine).So in summary, nice restaurant outside of Paris with ok food at Paris prices but over priced for what it was.Ultimately the success of any restaurant is the customer loyalty so if asked whether I would go back, the answer would have to be no.

We've been with a couple of friend yesterday evening at Bel Ami due to the recent change of owner. It's a great place to go. It's convivial, the meat "charolais" is just awesome. Service is really nice, made to make you feel like friends at home. Great carte with typical French cuisine (foie gras or blanquette). Happy to be back to new Bel Ami. We'll go again :)

The food was really good and the service was OK given the size of the group (12 ish). We had full three courses and everything was amazing - real level of theatre. It was busy so you might need to book even on a midweek.

Very good service. Great fan of their beef tartare dish served with home made french fries and salad. this is the place to be if you're a meat lover. Highly recommended !
