Le Bistrot 102 - Tisch reservieren

I visited Le Bistrot 102 on Saturday night with my husband and his parents. We were looked after perfectly by Christelle and Cedric; despite our limited French we managed to make ourselves understood and Cedric explained the menu to us. We had a burger, duck and a Bistrottine (toasted bread covered in vegetables and different toppings - it's something different and was very tasty). They were all beautifully cooked and served. I had a meringue dessert that was up there with the best I've ever had. We did book in advance, and glad we did. Numerous people came in after us and were turned away. This place was busy, and deservedly so.

This is a lovely restaurant, run by a very nice couple. Food is very good and service is friendly and attentive. Nice burgers (unexpected in a French restaurant) and excellent duck. Try the kir with peach, it was delicious! And we were lucky to have the company of the owners' dog who jumped on our lap for deserts! Highly recommend it!

We came 3 people to the restaurant and from the first minute we felt like we are the only guest of this lovely couple the food the duck the beef and the hamburger were excellent

I can't say enough great things about this restaurantMy boyfriend and I visited Caen and had the hardest time deciding where we should eat.

Absolutely fantastic Chef/owner recommended that we try the confit de canard and the smoked sausage specialty of the house - unbelievable.
