Le Bistrot du Pont

On a sunday evening at 9pm, we were struggling to find somewhere open and 'decent' to get some dinner in Oloron. Driving around, we saw that this place was open so decided to stop.From the time we stepped in, we were taken care of as friends and we felt very welcome. We were sat by the window so we could enjoy the view over the river.The food was delicious!!! I had the cassolette basquaise and my boyfriend had the entrecote. Both were cooked to perfection and didn't lack of anything. We both cleaned our plates and wished we had some room left to try the desserts.. Next time!Yes it's simple cuisine but the ingredients and the cooking are great!I definitely recommend anyone to stop there and try their local food!

This is a more than average restaurant. Let's say "Good".We were late, but they still served us a nice "Bistrot" salad with a good glass of fine. you can sit inside or outside 'so on the bridge) and see the waters of two "gaves" (rivers) coming together. Nice place; plenty of people (local and tourists) around. Service is good and with lots of humour.

We were a group of 13 (adults and children) - they were able to accommodate us well. The food was good and the service super friendly. The location is beautiful overlooking the river.

Very basic meal, when we went they had run out of choices on the menu and we had to have what was left. The confit was dry and the salad lacked imagination.

Great atmosphere, do not serve food as is usual in France until after eight o'clock. The food and wine good and excellent value
