We visited this lovely restaurant on the advice of our host at Chez Helen. It was mid November, it had been snowing earlier in the day so not really peak season. It was great to see a local restaurant so busy on a Thursday night. We were greeted by a very friendly server when we arrived who embraced my poor French and made us feel welcome by answering us in English. We were shown to the back room which was very intimate. This restaurant is built into former cellars so the rooms are small and with stone walls had great atmosphere. Whilst we were there a table of 20 people arrived, again a great sign for middle of winter. The food is great, good value for excellent quality. Slight downside was the other server who forgot to bring us our water and had a slight attitude. To be fair to him he may well have been busy with the large table, however comparing him to the other gentleman who greeted us he only let himself down. All in all, this is a great restaurant, great food, serving local produces in traditional French ways, for very affordable prices. All round great and we would certainly return if we were in the area again.
