Le Bouche A Oreille

We only found this restaurant, because they had a board on the street around the corner, as the way there was down a dark street with lots of building work going on. We almost gave up, but saw the entrance once we turned the corner. It was pleasantly full of local people. The waiter was welcoming, and slightly cheeky . We chose the 2-course, set menu, which I think was €23. Everything was simple, yet delicious. We had rose d 'Anjou, and muscadet from Ancenis to drink.

Enjoyed our meal at Le Bouche a Oreille more than any other restaurant in area. Owner served us beautifully. Supported our poor French, whilst helping us to believe our French was better than it is. Menu's written in French and English. Some amazing items and drinks sourced locally. Will make a visit back when next in town.

Great place to eat and the town on Monday is mostly closed but they are open. The food was excellent and offers fresh local/French cuisine. I went for a seafood choice on each course and could not fault anything. The service was relaxed and professional, I recommend to anyone

Very good food cannot describe enough how good was the food. I recommend it really by hearth. The staff was very friendly as well.

Excellent food, service, value for a lunchtime table d'hote. Would come again. Ancenis seems to be blessed with good restaurants
