Rocked up for a late lunch mid week. Seated on end of a row of dirty tables. We had to clear all the mess to our side as waitress didn’t seem to care. Ordered a large pitcher of red and as listed on menu it was 75cl. A medium 50cl pitcher arrived so highlighted this to her and was immediately down and told 75cl were bottles despite menu not denoting this. I asked to change this jug for a bottle and her displeasure was very evident. Asked about plat and was told it was beef. When it arrived it was pork. I was beyond caring and too hungry to send this back. Dish lacked flavour and came with a strange thick sauce which I can’t identify but it certainly didn’t enhance the thick slabs of meat. My wife ordered a Ceaser salad. What arrived was a huge glass bowl of random veg and lumps of bland chicken. You name it, it was in the dish, from sliced mushrooms to mango chutney!! I suspect chef had a good clear out of his store room and threw it all together for this dish. Waitress (young girl) had a slap dash attitude and the poor unapologetic service from her, along with bland and basic food, means you should avoid this place for food.
After 15 minutes waiting and not offered anything we just left. It wasn't that it was too busy, there were few guests and enough staff. They even showed up three times at our table, everytime promising they'll come back soon with the menu. They didn't offer us a drink or explained anything. Never experienced something like this before..
We were a party of 4 stopped in for a beer and burger. Food was good, staff was very friendly and helpful especially to this non French speaker. Draguignan is a great little town and this is a great place if you're loking for a casual bite to eat.
This café presents a restaurant dish under a café umbrella. The food was very good and plenty of it. We were not rushed and enjoyed a relaxing lunch before hitting the streets.
