OK so going for lunch in Toulouse is quite the thing to look forward to generally. Excellent food and drink available in the region at reasonable formule du midi prices is something that we have begun to take for granted.... until we dined here....The restaurant: clearly geared up for entertainment the tables are arranged around the centre of a stage. A little bit of a wild west feel to it. The menu refers to a buffet, but only served mon-friday. The menu: suspicions of forthcoming disappointment were present when the specials menu was provided on a photocopied post it note..... Prices were reasonable , ranging from just under euros for course with wine/drink included. Based on similar menus in other restaurants in the region, the expectation should be reasonable..... Service: Friendly . The problem: The food was served just way too fast for it to be any where near freshly prepared. The meat was more than likely frozen, the chips were cold. The red wine was chilled and smelt more like sangria than red wine it was not drinkable......The only element of cooking was the beans being drowned in garlic. Slightly gutted as I was very much looking forward to a cafe gourmand but we didn't even bother with the desert that was included in the formule.... Lesson learnt...... my advice check on trip advisor before attending this one the menu could change but based on our experience our recommendation would be to save your money and eat elsewhere....
