Le Chasse Marée

We had a very enjoyable evening meal with friends even though the restaurant was full, the service somewhat slow and the restaurant rather too hot. Fish is the thing to eat here being situated within spitting distance of the port. Starters of oysters, fish tartare and prawn pannacotta were followed by skate wing and dourada cooked on the grill. A decent pichet of Sauvignon Blanc to accompany. Then some good home made puddings. Altogether a very enjoyable evening.

We were recommended this restaurant by our hosts for the weekend. The restaurant is small and cosy with a lovely warm atmosphere, the food we ate was delicious indeed and beautifully presented. It was a little more upmarket than others on the front strip but the prices were very fair.Definitely with a visit, probably worth reserving a table in advance although we were able to get a table as we were only two.

We hadn't booked, but we were lucky to get a table at this lovely restaurant. My fois gras starter was one of the best I have had for a long time. The service was great, and our fishy main courses were delicious, very well cooked and lovely. Puddings were lovely too, and I cant wait to eat here again. Thank you.

Very mediocre restaurant, high priced for what you get. Has a recommendation from Guide Michelin, but serving pre-cooked sole a meuniere, heated again in the microwave, would any enthousiastic Michelin adept turn away immediately. Not worthwhile a revisit!

Had a meal there Thursday 20th July , sat outside , was served by young lad maybe 17 , spoke good English which is rare around this area , great service good food , a little dearer than others nearby but worth it
