I was there with a group of French business associates and they had pre-ordered a multi course meal with accompanying wines. We were welcomed with champagne then led to our tables where we started with small appetizers, among others a really tasty beetroot soup. Our server was really thoughtful and explained the dishes not only in French but for me also in German. We were offered a wide selection of bread. We enjoyed (among others) a lobster cappuccino, a morel, stuffed with white mushrooms, venison, a rum cake with fantastic tropic fruit salad and a delicious creme fraiche mousse. The wines were all from France and when we had a question about them the server could answer all of our questions. We finished off with the small delicacies - chocolate truffles, marshmallows... An absolutely perfect evening!
This small restaurant is very nice, and everything about it indicates first class. The menu was exciting and diverse, and we ordered the preferred wine with each entres and plates. The wait staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. However, unlike the glowing reviews, I would rate my experience as a 8/10. The portions were very small, and the overall experience and food my wife and I had was better at Hotel Le Moulin's restaurant (just a few blocks away).the evening before. Maybe we tried the Les Cygnes restaurant on a night the head chef was not in residence? Both Hotel Les Moulin and Les Cygnes Restaurant are places I want to visit again
You might not think you could find a restaurant of this quality anywhere outside of Paris but its here. The food, the service, the ambiance all incredible. We have eaten at many fine restaurants around the world and this little gem can rival any of them. Worth the drive if you're not in town.
Very good restaurant. intimate setting, friendly, beautiful. a pleasure to have dinner. The team is super nice. No regrets. I recommend.
