Le Dauphine - Tisch reservieren

On holiday and wanting a lunch, we were disappointed to find the restaurant we hoped to eat in was closed. This was our good luck as Le Dauphine was a great substitute. The welcome was friendly, the menu offered a wide choice at very reasonable prices and the house wine was very good. The restaurant was busy even though we arrive quite late for lunch and there was a lively atmosphere. Our waitress was cheerful, efficient and made time to chat to all the diners.

A local pointed out this place to us. We were the first clients to arrive. Madame was topping green beans in the restaurant, and didn't seem particularly pleased to see us. The food was okay, nothing to write home about. The waitress was more pleasant than the patronne. It's clean, food was made from fresh produce, there seemed to be a lot of staff in the kitchen. They don't have a outside dining area, shame with the warm weather.

this town roll up its rugs pretty fast even in august ,so when the restaurant up the street said they were out of food at nine they sent us here. one waitress handled the whole room which was pretty full and she did a great job. the food was good and a great value. dont go when they have one of there thursday night town parties in the summer, its a bit crazy

Arnay-le-Duc seems to be a town whose population is slowly melting away, so we weren't too surprised to find ourselves alone (except for 2 other people) in this rather large restaurant. But the menu is simply too ambitious and so forced to rely on pre-prepared food that is generally unappetizing. I am quite puzzled by the positive reviews here.

Dinner on a Sunday Evening. Average meal and wine. Not expensive. Good service. We did not travel far, which resulted in a reasonable meal
