In Fanfaron, I have been receiving a warm and family welcome for years. This is the guaranteed rest time in the middle of working days, the break time where the first place is given to culinary pleasures. A good quality French cuisine with well-worked flavors makes me feel like eating season flavors and varied dishes made at home every time I come back (that is, at least once a week! . A secret to discover: the recipe for vinaigrette is exceptional and this detail is an unexpected joy for any new person I take to discover this rich and colorful table. Other dishes deserve the detour, of course, but when the simplest is already a pleasure, how not to be delighted with each bite? As a family, with friends and colleagues, it is one of the places to know in Nîmes, near the house Carrée.

We were staying around the corner and decided to try this place on our last night. Wish we had tried it on our first night as it was so relaxing and the food was so lovely. Conversed in English as our French is not good and the host was more than happy to speak in English and took great pleasure in correcting my French with a smile which all added to a most relaxing and enjoyable meal. Skip the main cafes and bars in central Nimes and head here, you won't be disappointed.
