Amazing food and experience! I ordered the bucatini alla Norma and it made me ascend into another dimension. Also, the braised artichokes and the focaccia with the whipped ricotta are divine. Jack was our server and he was so attentive throughout the whole meal. Long Weekend escape to Charleston SC with my husband. Le Farfalle was on the top of the recommendation list from a friend. It did not disappoint! Charming indoors outdoors off the beaten path. When in Charleston you must have Oysters! The Whipped Ricotta with honey fresh warm bread delicious! The Lamb Shank with creamy Polenta the spicy puttnesca sauce was incredible! Lastly the Carrot Cake that tasted like a homemade dessert was also wonderful. Cant wait to be back.
I am halfway through appetizers and have already decided this is a 5 star. Service is top notch (Tess is trés excellent); drinks are balanced and made with attention to detail; and the food is thoughtfully prepared. This restaurant clearly stands behind a reputation as the Peninsula?s premiere Italian and delivers. Will return weekly if they?ll have me.
One of the best meals I?ve had in quite some time. The appetizers were all incredible and service on point. Great selection of pasta dishes, though limited main entrees beyond that. Perfectly seasoned food, great portion sizes, and the freshest ingredients.
