This very small and cozy place in the middle of Etretat. I would rank it as a high class restaurant. We never reached the main courses because "les entrées chaudes" were fantastically delicious. Here you could try cooked oysters (in champagne sauce) and hot fois gras with !fois gras flavored ice-cream.Staff is charming and atmospheric is romantic. Try it if you are around.
My wife and I, with another couple, had the best meal we had in Etretat. We'd eaten at the Dormy House and at le Clos Lupin and all agreed the 25 Euro menu to be the best. It was also a wonderful bargain, even though two had a 7 Euro supplement. For wine we had a really good Graves and a Reisling, again at a good price.
We enjoyed a two course dinner for 29 euros each and the food was excellent - beautifully prepared and presented. There were amuses bouches and chocolates with the coffee which made the experience a little special. The room is very atmospheric with lots of carved beams etc. We would definitely go again
We had a lovely Sunday lunch here in the middle of the village. The building is interesting but there is no ocean view. The service was professional and everything tasted delicious. Try the Champagne Oysters- they are served warm. A local family of 12 was celebrating a birthday here.
