If you're looking for great hotels in France, the key is to look for Best Westerns. We quickly realized that this vacation after a bad experience in the Alps with another hotel. Since then we have stayed in 3 different Best Westerns and they were all exquisite. You can tell a different kind of experience from the moment you walk in the door. You are greeted with such formality and reverence, a warm welcome with just the right touch of professionalism. The room and bathroom in Chartres were very clean. We enjoyed a nice late night cocktail in the lounge, which has a great vibe and decor. Once again the staff there were also very sweet and accommodating to us despite the language barrier. We were especially thankful to a staff member named Joseph who spoke fluent English and French and who went above and beyond to be helpful to us in our time of need. We didn't have a chance to experience the spa due to a flight the next day, but we would stay here again on our next visit to France! This hotel is more than a place, it's an experience!
8th time here over 30 years. Always a good hotel now much much nicer. New quiet elevators, good food in casual restaurant and very good food in Georges restaurant . An extrordinary wine list and sommellier in both. Clean quiet rooms. Good breakfast with fresh oj. 5 min walk to cathedral. Very friendly people, secure parking down the street. Very nice bar, comfortable seating. This hotel would be perfect if Georges wasn't closed sun mon. Back for 9th time. Still an efficient clean and quiet hotel, plus even better staff. 5* throughout.
It's really an amazing hotel with beautiful rooms and an amamazing staff team. I had a problem, called the reception and in just a minute, i had someone on my room and the problem was solved. I also love my room! If you hink about staying here, do it, it's worth it :
Exquisite hotel where personnel provides a very personal good customer service and attention. Had a very pleasant stay, room very clean and in good condition. You can easily walk to attractions and restaurants. Definately can stay again and recommend it !!
