Le Jardin Des Plumes

Visited as part of a day out visiting Monet's Gardens etc. Hotel only 3 mins from the gardens which are pleasant and peaceful. Bright, modern restaurant. Various menus available. Very good service. Good wine list. Unfortunately the food did not live up to expectations.... Poorly cooked and seasoned turbot dish killed this beautiful fish; strange addition of, particularly Japanese flavours (eg miso) overwhelmed the lamb dish etc. The food was not bad, just not up to expectations.

Nous avons dîner dans le restaurant en août.Deja l'accueil nous a annoncé un merveilleux repas, tout le monde etait au petit soin!Nous avons choisi de prendre un dîner à la carte et ce fut un véritable enchantement nous avons tout aime et finis nos assiettes jusqu'à la dernière goutte!Mention spéciale pour le dessert chocolat cacahuète qui m'a vraiment vraiment transportée !Merci à vous

We decided to go for mains and desserts rather than the set menu - those dishes were wonderful but the meal was made even better by the friendly and helpful staff, and the little extras that were brought for us to try. A must-try!

Bar none the best meal during our trip to France! The service was phenomenal and the food was exquisite, not to mention a fabulous recommendation for wine.
