Bread crumb chicken. Mixed fish dish....The Caesar salad was passable.The rest was rubbish. coffees and later. Might be much better at night after a few pints! Really sorry we visited!"

After driving for a long time down from Sault, we were hungry, but it was mid afternoon, and not many places still serving lunch. Arrived into Cavaillon, and the only place we could find on route was Le Noch Ness cafe.Sat and were given menu's promptly. But only food available Salads, either chicken or salmon. Two opted for the chicken salad, and 2 for the salmon salad. Chicken salad look reasonable, but the salmon ( it's actually called Salade Lochness ) was a weird combination of Salmon, lettuce and fruit. As I am not a fruit lover, I am regretting ordering this. But I persevered. It was only okay, but made me wary of ordering salads in the future, especially in this area of France. Perhaps a local delicacy? Who knows! We were charged €19.60 for the 2 chicken salads, & €22.00 for the 2 Lochness Salads, plus €5.00 for a bottle of water, which I find very expensive. Total came to € 46.60.If I were in the area again, I'd be avoiding here.

We arrived in the restaurant early around and were told we could not be served before ,which was fair enough. Then around the waitress apologized and told us the cook had not seen our order! So we had to wait a bit...more and were only served around noon! The food arrived but was not very hot. The portions were average. The price was euros. This is far too high considering it is only in Cavaillon. A steak and chips in Aix on the main street is cheaper than this!
