We were a group of 4, dining early on a very wet mid-week February evening. Restaurant was about half full, a good sign. Staff were friendly & spoke good English. Relaxed, casual atmosphere. A relatively limited number of options were on the fairly typical French menu, but it covered most tastes and the food was well presented and flavoursome.However, I have tasted much better foie gras (one of the entrees). For the Plats (mains): steaks as you'd expect, nicely rare as asked. The lamb was also very good, The Bar(white fish) and its accompanying light sauce was delicious, definitely worth a re-visit just for that!I was disappointed with the prices of the wine. Some of the pichets were the same price that I have paid for a bottle of similar quality. This meant that the overall price of the evening was higher than I felt was justified.Reading other reviews, I would comment that we did not have any problems with staff attentiveness or seating, it was all very relaxed and friendly.
We reserved the downstairs for a group of 25 people, which was a very warm area and created a nice intimate ambiance. Our menu was personalized which we created together in advance with the restaurant. On the day the quality of the food was exceptional and so were the staff who did everything to make our day special . I would highly recommend .
Small restaurant, in a quiet street, excellent food and service. A friend booked us a table here so we did not know what to expect. Could not fault a thing, good food good wine list. We are already planing to go back, would recommend!
We did not reserve. It was full and they kindly offered a table for 2. Good service. The meals on the 'ardoise' are excellent and it's a real food of the day. Cozy vibe. Enjoy..
