When I visit Crans-Montana, I always make a reservation at LeCrans’ Le Mont Blanc, a Michelin 1 Star. The food is wonderful and this restaurant offers best views in Crans and a terrace worth visiting for lunch and après-ski. As we were 10, the Restaurant...prepared à winter dinner with 8 courses. Some courses worth highlighting were the appetizer, a slow cooked egg with sweet potatoes, and my main, the lobster with gnocchis and cream of shellfish. I then had the brie with truffle. Throughout the meal, the sommelier made some excellent recommendation. Another fantastic experience at Le Mont Blanc.
The restaurant has a spectacular view (if you can go there during the day time), and the staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. Sommelier really knows the wine, and the atmosphere is very child friendly. Dishes come in very modern, beautiful presentations. However, having...eaten around the world, we are not sure if we can call this a 4-5 star cuisine.
We were there twice for lunch recently. Food, service and the panorama were 1st class. Unfortunately due to the Coronovirus outbreak the restaurant is now closed until mid June as informed. The owner came to say hello and goodbye, what a lovely gentleman. Very sad...situation for all...Good luck and hope to see you guys again soon in June, can't wait ;
I enjoyed the tasting menu with wine pairing and I could write a book on my experience. I would just summarize with a few words, service on point, outstanding flavors, great wine selection and what a view! I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
