Discovery of the heart that closes a weekend in Beaujolais. A bistro that combines charm at several levels, both by its location in the heart of the pretty hamlet of Morgon, as by its decoration and its sober and pleasant design, but also by the skill, kindness, dedication and good mood of the young people who welcomed us, combining elegance, all in harmony dress with the place, with a smiling conviviality. This Sunday was offered a meal in the culinary tradition of the Mâchon de Lyon, the surprise (who aspires to stay) that resides in the revision of the concept in a modernized version, delivered in the air of time. We had the pleasure of enjoying a salad of cervelas lentils, boiled eggs with truffle oil, the traditional tray of charcuterie, the Lyon cuisine sausage and steam cooked potatoes, the non-contournable collar of canuts (perfectly seasoned) and a delicious dessert, accompanied by a glass of Morgon. A place to recommend to any amateur regional cuisine! The Bistrot is associated with a cocktail bar upstairs that I hope to discover, as well as the rest of the map, on the occasion of a next visit. Bravo to the Guignier family for the passion that inspires them and impresses their charming team!
