The only place in Grasse in which we would contemplate eating. Open from 8am for coffee or breakfast and serving food until 4pm (Monday to Friday), it’s also perfectly acceptable to stop by for just a drink. The entrecote steak, served with a superb pepper sauce, fries and salad was excellent – and perfectly cooked as requested. The goat’s cheese salad was equally good. Family run, friendly and attentive service and all food is prepared in house and cooked to order. Indeed their home made croque monsieur, ordered on a previous occasion, is also superb. A “must go to” destination.
As a resident of Grasse I 'm always happy to find a decent place to eat locally and I stopped here for lunch today. Chose the €14 formule midi a very tasty confit of duck with gratin dauphinois followed by a delicious café gourmand (small supplement). The owner was extremely welcoming and friendly. And even better the food is all home made (according to the sign) which is a welcome change from many of the restaurants in this region. It certainly tasted very good and I 'll be back.
This beautiful Restaurant has been really a surprise! We webt there for lunch, choosin ' the Menu . I ordered a Curry with rice, chicken, coriander, coconut milk, banana and raisins...So particoular and, believe me, SIMPLY DELICIOUS!!! (Dessert was delicious as well! The waitress was very polite, the service fast and careful. If in Grasse don 't miss it!!!
I did not appreciate the food because I was not in the best moral shape. However, the incredible kindness of the waiter cheered me up. Average/upper end quality food, amazing service. One of the best you can find in Grasse (which for a French city is not very interesting by a culinary point of view).
