Once you arrive here you just have to choose among dozens of little restaurants that will offer you mainly one thing: oysters! So why here and not anywhere else? Difficult answer as they all have really good molluscs, so we chose this one because it has a nice terrace facing the channel and not the road. We ate raw shrimps and oysters together with wine and buttered bread in a really nice atmosphere. Prices are absolutely convenient and nothing you could find in any city (where they could give you just dead oysters)

Just dined here again in December. This is one of several fine raw shellfish diners fronting an actual oyster fishing pier in Leucate. They are all great, but this is my father-in-law's local favorite. If it is a warm day, request a seat outside in back where the oysters are being hauled off of the boat. Best value are the Moyens (medium sized) oysters, the large are great but you are paying more for the weight of the shell. Local white wine, served by carafe, never disappoints.

One of the best of the dozen or so Oyster Shacks/cabins lining the canal north of Port Leucate. As with most of the outlets, the menu is ALL shellfish, mostly farmed in the adjacent lake (I guess the Prawns are shipped in from Madagascar or some such) and all scrumptious. This cabin is particularly good, as it has a small terrace out the back, overlooking the working canal area.And bags of Oysters, Mussels etc to take home, too!

Amazing cosy place with the best fresh oysters! You get the directly from the farm near by the harbor! Very friendly staff and nice small wooden tables

The oysters, wine, and pricing were all great, but the servers were a bit unprofessional. Besides that it was a good spot!
