"On a long drive home we decided to stop here and had an excellent meal. The food was delicious and freshly cooked with vegetarian choices which is not all that frequent in France (I'm a vegetarian in a French meat-eating family). A good choice of wines and the coffee was great too. The service was friendly and attentive - definitely worth your visit!"

Fantastic place! We stumbled upon this place after having cycled 70km in oppressive heat. We stopped for lunch, and thought we would try the 19,50€ lunch menu. We had no idea of the treat in store for us. The waitress was lovely and welcoming, and bought us a delicious amuse of deliciously fresh green hummus and toast. This was followed by the most amazing gazpacho of courgette and mint. On any day it would have been outstanding, but on a hot day it was a gift from the gods. Oliver the chef came out to talk to us, and his passion for flavour and love of his ingredients radiated from him. The balance of flavours in this subtle dish was incredible, it was so fresh and tasted of Provence. The dish made my husband emotional. Our expectations now high, we were not disappointed by our main of vegetarian lasagne, accompanied by a lentil side salad. I am a vegetarian, and this is by far the best meal I've had in France (and further afield). Again, the ingredients were superb and lovingly presented in a simple, yet subtle way. The meal was rounded off by a chocolate pot with accompanying fruits and coulis. The coulis was delicately flavoured with herbs of Provence that were a running motif throughout the meal. I cannot recommend this unassuming restaurant highly enough. It is well worth making a trip out of your way in summer or winter- Oliver the chef said that the seasonal menu reflects the vegetables available locally. The small staff were so wonderful and the whole experience was the highlight of our three week trip and we will definitely return. Thank you for a lovely meal!

We have just returned from our family holiday and have to say we struggled to find great food in this area of France. Having read other reviews and getting the recommendation of our gites owner we decided to go for sunday lunch. The waiter was very sweet and helpful but we were not impressed by the food. On the whole it was luke warm and uninspiring. The ratatoille was tasteless, the meat for the main was dry, the apricot claf cake for dessert was like an omelette. The saving grace was my husband did enjoy his terrine starter and my son s chocolate pot was good, but when you are paying 140 euros for a family meal of three courses you expect a few more dishes to come good. I would give it two stars but seeing as my son and husband did have a little more success and the waiter was so helpful i upped it from poor to average.

Excellent and authentic provencal restaurant. They offer a creative range of dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. The staff care about what they do and take pride in showcasing their food.We first had an egg 'parfait' (a bit like a poached egg) in a mushroom sauce. It was exceptional, definitely the table favourite. The mushrooms and truffles were picked at barcelonette, up the road!Main courses were great - pork and lamb were both moist and accompanied by well made sides. Desserts also really tasty, coulis with the pana cotta was exceptional as was the 'soyeux'.

This magical place we found when our gps decided to show us beautiful landscapes of Mezel Mountains. Not only you feel in a fairy tale when you enter this lovely space but you are treated beautifully.I am not a big meat eater but I was in France and wanted to try the lamb. I never, ever, had such a delicious lamb, neither when I was a big meat eater haha. I highly recommend this place, if you are in those beautiful mountains you MUST eat here. Is so lovely, homey, cozy and delicious!!
