Le P'tit Zef - Tisch reservieren

We were seeking out a little port to have lunch on a sunny Sunday and were shell-shocked to find Arzon which had a massive new build complex of marina, housing and we didn't see any restaurants or hotels. To find Port Navalo was a big relief, unspoiled, charming old buildings and a handful of restaurants.Le P'tit Zeph has good views and is popular. Took the 26 euro menu and that included a starter of langoustines which were the best ones eaten this holiday. The other starter of marinated salmon had nice touches like crene fraiche quenelles specked with coriander leaf. Hake was served over a fishy broth that was dotted with seriously good aioli. The vegetables under the fish were fresh Mediterranean types like aubergine courgettes and sliced spud. The other main was Petonicles with pasta (queen scallops) in a creamy sauce. They were fine but the Hake had it! A Grand Marnier soufflé had a supplement but it is rare to find such desserts outside more up-market establishments. A bottle of Colombard Sauvignon at 19 euros was good value. There is an upstairs to this restaurant (which we didn't realise was part of the same place,) which seemed more up-market with lobster being featured and I would not hesitate to give that a try and would have stunning views being situated on the first floor.

We went to this place because I wanted to have a "Seafood platter". The "A la carte" menu was so appealing that I changed my mind immediately. On top of that, one of the owners, kindly took the time to advise us on the various choices and especially on the wines by the glass to go along with each plate. In addition to extra fresh oysters, I took the "Pétoncles sautées aux pâtes fraîches, écume de crevettes grises et pesto" which I can only recommend. In summary, fine food, delicate and friendly service in a very nice place.

Amazing seafood in a spectacular setting in Port Navalo. Everything is fresh. Oysters are locally sourced and delicious. The terrace can be a bit windy but blankets are provided to enjoy the scenery and spectacular sunsets. Service was friendly and prompt. Prices reasonable for the preset menu but a bit expensive for a la carte options such as the blue lobster. It was delicious though...a definite find.

Ate lunch here with friends prior to a boat trip around the bay. We were pressed for time so had a selection of entrees which were fabulous, I wish we had had time to try the main courses. The staff were friendly and efficient and the outside area where we sat has lovely views.Heartily recommended.

My ideal meal is accompanied by a glass of cold white wine and a sea view. And that's what I got. Lovely meal, sitting on the deck. Immaculately presented,delicious fish.Perfect, thank you.
