We accidentally discovered Le Quai 21 mid-afternoon, famished. When we walked in a patron said, “You will be happy.” He was so right. The cassoulet was exquisite, as was a salmon salad. Chef/owner Assane became a new friend. We left with doggie bags that fed our souls again that evening at our BnB. Do not miss this unique culinary and cultural experience.
My wife had fish or the day. It came with garlic potatoes and leaks. She said it was amazing. I had the traditional cassoulet. I loved it. Best duck that I had. Came with a very fresh salad. Great location on the Canal Midi and outdoor seating. Wonderful service. I highly recommend it.
Probably the best moules frites I have ever had. Moules Normandes. Superb. We have just come to live in Castelnaudary and we are finding out where to go for just about everything. This is definitely a great place to eat.
Lovely charming service but food was, well, average. My main was quite fatty and not very tasty ….and it was a salad. Not much selection for beers. Cassoulet plentiful, but, again, lacked flavour. Nice location.
