Your average French bar-tabac isn't exactly the most inviting place for a visitor: usually the air is a mixture of BO and stale smoke and you can feel like a bit of an intruder, especially if you don't like horse racing. But Le Sailor is rather different. It is clean, light and airy with what must be the cleanest and best-appointed public loos in Brittany. Usual range of hot, soft and alcoholic drinks, breakfast available in the morning at a very reasonable price, newspapers, chocolate and a few souvenirs on sale. It's only a few yards from Roscoff railway station, and is very handy if you're waiting for a bus or train. A very pleasant place to pass half an hour.
