Le Saint-Vincent Restaurant

This little place is a brief walk from the Vouvray Chateaux Gaudrelle. Looks like a little bar from outside and was the only place open at lunchtime whilst we were waiting for the Chateau to open for the afternoon.We were greeting warmly and asked if we would like to sit outside when we were shown to a perfect little courtyard garden with tables and parasols. There were approx 5 other couples and families enjoying the food and sunshine. We opted for the lunchtime fixed price menu which cost 11.90 Euros and not really expecting much at all. We were blown away by the quality and quantity of food. I had tomato salad to start, my partner had the charcuterie and both had steak/frites with salad for main course. Creme brullee followed and we were happy and full.This is restaurant is an amazing little find - if you are in the area at lunchtime go!
