Non-Tourist Friendly Restaurant and Poor Serving Practice It was a shocked to us that we had been left unattended at our table since we arrived and no one bothered to ask about aperitif. Out of curiosity, a few of us walked to the buffet area while the rest of us waiting to be served, but were only told that we should wait at our table until called, which obviously never happened. Apparently, how the buffet works is each customer takes along a grill-cage (approx 5x5x25cm) and makes food selection in the buffet area where a chef will do all the grilling on customer's behalf. The ceveat is you can make grill selection only when your table is called. Not to mention the long line of people already waiting at the buffet area. Therefore you can only get a small amount of grilled meat each round. Let me put it into perspective, the size of the grill-cage can hold, at best, 2 small chucks of sausages plus 1 small piece of chicken. Our observation was some of the grilled food appeared to be charred rendering part of the food inedible. By far, it is the worst buffet (time-consuming and poor value for money) I have seen in my life. The quirkiness around the personal grill cage does not add up. It was appalling that none of the staff, despite being young in their age, only spoke to us in french and not even attempted to make the slightest effect to bridge our language gap, i.e. communicate in English. After 15 minutes waiting at our table, we dreaded how much longer we would spend in the restaurant so we walked out. Fortunately, another restaurant in the neighbourhood accepted our walk-in (refer to my review on Restaurant L'imprimerie).
