We went here for lunch, and I chose the chicken Caesar salad, with chips.Normally, one would expect nice pieces of chicken breast in bite sized pieces, but this salad had a few tiny little bits of fatty meat accompanied by greasy rock-hard croutons. The chips were served in a small metal basket, like a miniature chip fryer basket. They had obviously been cooked previously, then thrown by handful to be re-heated briefly in hot fat. Result: they were clumped together; some of the chips were hot, others were cold.Normally in any French restaurant at lunchtime, bread is provided with the meal. Instead of nice slices of fresh bread, we were served two bullet-hard, torpedo shaped mini baguettes, not much bigger than a large cigar, in a small metal basket, shaped like a bucket. I tried to break one with my hands, gave up so we left them. When our plates were cleared, they made a brief trip back to the kitchen to reappear at the table of some newly arrived diners. How many times had this happened, I wondered. No wonder they were so hard.My partner, meanwhile, had a burger and chips. His burger was OK, but for some reason it was served on a piece of slate, rather then a plate.Things at this restaurant might improve if they abandoned the gimmicks and just tried to serve wholesome food.
The sparrow has changed since the change of ownership. Before I liked to go in the evening on Friday or Saturday a lot of people very good atmosphere filtered clientele was fine. today I find that the customer has changed I see that anyone can go there they are accepted so much it does not discriminate but I had the opportunity to spend the week it fears a little and the weekend There are not many people apparently regulars of the week to the limit I prefer to invite my friends friends at home at least we have fun without risk of being bothered by its most often drunk harassers but that's my opinion .. .. Original Le sparrow a bien changé depuis le changement de propriétaire. Avant j aimais m y rendre en soirée le vendredi ou samedi beaucoup de monde très bonne ambiance clientèle filtrée c était bien . aujourd'hui je trouve que la clientèle a bien changée je vois que n importe qui peut y aller ils sont acceptés tant mieux il ni a pas de discrimination mais j ai eue l occasion de passer en semaine ça craint un peu et le week-end y a pas grand monde apparemment les habitués de la semaine à la limite je préfère inviter mes amies amis à la maison au moins nous nous amusons sans risque d être embêtés par ses importunistes le plus souvent saouls mais ça c est mon avis ....
Vol à main armée. Bières, tout ce qui a de plus classique, à 5,50€ !!! C 'est digne de Lyon ces tarifs ! Le Monaco avec rien de bière et que de la grenadine, autant mettre grenadine directement ! De plus que aucun smoothie n 'est disponible car la machine fait trop de bruit pour la télé à côté. Et les jus sont en bouteille Pago, ils pourraient se donner la peine de le faire frais ! Ah et le serveur ne viens pas en terrasse, on doit aller chercher sa boisson soi même ! Venu un jour de match, France-Paraguay pour la coupe du monde.
A friend and I love, drink a glass of white wine bar very correct. The chic touch that is the decoration is pleasant. The adorable bosses know how to welcome customers and servers, a service that is so smiling and coming. I love it. I highly recommend it.
